2009: My Time to Shine « Elite Na Pobre

2009 new year 2008 was a roller coaster year for me. I received a lot of opportunities, I faced a lot of failures and problems, I encountered a lot of frustrations, I also met a lot of heavenly-good and bad-internally-and-externally-ugly people, and I knew that I’m being a better person minute per minute.

I am looking forward to 2009 as “my” year (although I was born in the year of the tiger) because this year will be my graduation from college runaround that I experienced. I am planning to stop working in call centers (because I never liked the metrics involved in the said industry), I’ll keep a portion of my salary every cut off for my savings, I am also thinking of being richer (spiritually, financially, physically, and emotionally), I’m also planning to be more techy because it really feels better to be clued-up, I’ll try to be the best person that I can be not just for myself but also for the people who surround me, who love me, who depend on me, and who are there for me for always..

Hey how did you make the snow on your theme? Coolness! Anyway, it’s nice that you have goals for 2009. My only plan is to resign from work and be fit (there, you heard me!). And hey, I thank you for one year of healthy competition, competitage! Because of the competition, we’ve managed to be recognized in our segment, making us the best floor supports of our generation. Though rejections and failure are inevitable, we’re still the best and no one, even that ugly bald SM, can bring us down! Thanks for sharing your stories and knowledge, mister. You’re a big part of my year 2008.
